![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Work is assigned daily through the OR schedule by the Nurse-In-Charge (NIC) or Surgery Center Manager. Routine work is performed with a high degree of independence and latitude, following written procedures, standards and protocols to accomplish professional nursing duties. Supervision Received: Work is performed under the general supervision of the Executive Officer of Hospital & Nursing Services, Director of Inpatient Nursing and with immediate supervision of the Surgery Center Manager. Surgery Center RN’s are responsible for adhering to established surgical standards of nursing practice and for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in all phases and locations of perioperative care including pre-op, operating room, endoscopy, Post Anesthesia Recovery Unit (PACU), Central Sterile (CS), and recovery room. Registered nurses whose principal duty station is the surgery center must be accessible when “On-Call”. The employee provides professional nursing services to these beneficiaries. This facility provides professional medical and nursing services to Native American beneficiaries. This position is with the Department of Health at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center. ![]()
